Acceptance
By accessing bannermarch.com, creating or using a Bannermarch account, joining the waitlist, or participating in a Bannermarch test that links to these terms, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use those services.
Additional cohort or test rules may apply. If a specific test rule conflicts with these terms, the more specific rule controls for that test.
Eligibility
The website and waitlist are intended for a general audience, not children under 13. You must be at least 16 to join the waitlist on your own. If you are younger than 16 but at least 13, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your participation where permitted by law.
You may not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so. Invited tests may set a higher minimum age or additional regional eligibility requirements.
Waitlist and public alpha
Joining the waitlist subscribes you to requested development updates and cohort notices; it does not guarantee a particular opening date, access duration, continued availability, or a place in a specific Chronicle.
The public alpha may change, reset, contain errors, or become temporarily unavailable. Access is personal, limited, revocable, and may not be sold or transferred.
Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used to evaluate and improve Bannermarch without payment or obligation, while you retain ownership of any original material you submit.
Acceptable use
You must follow the Community Standards and may not:
- Break the law, infringe rights, or encourage another person to do so.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or obtain unauthorized access to the website, game, accounts, or infrastructure.
- Use bots, scraping, automation, cheats, exploits, or delegated agents except where Bannermarch explicitly permits them.
- Impersonate another person or staff member, misrepresent an official message, phish, distribute malware, or collect credentials.
- Sell, transfer, or commercially exploit access, accounts, virtual items, or service data without written permission.
- Copy, extract, or reuse substantial game content or data to build a competing service.
Good-faith security research should follow the private route described on the Support page.
Ownership and limited permission
Bannermarch and its original software, visual identity, writing, world, designs, and other content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to access the public website and alpha for their intended purpose. You may share ordinary screenshots or commentary unless a specific test is identified as confidential.
Names or material owned by third parties remain their owners’ property.
Changes, suspension, and availability
Features, rules, content, cohorts, and availability may change during development. Access may be limited or suspended to protect people, evidence, fairness, security, infrastructure, or the integrity of a test.
Confirmed high-stakes game actions should not be silently reinterpreted by a client update. Operational incidents may require a deadline pause or reschedule, which will be recorded when applicable.
You may stop using the site or unsubscribe from development email at any time. Self-service account deletion remains in development; current deletion requests belong at privacy@bannermarch.com.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the development site and pre-release services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bannermarch is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from the development site or a free pre-release test.
You are responsible for protecting your email account, device, credentials, and sessions, and for actions taken through access you control. Notify the private support route promptly if you suspect compromise.
Changes and contact
These terms may change as Bannermarch develops from public alpha toward a wider service. Material changes will update the effective date and may be announced in Development Dispatches or an official email.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@bannermarch.com. Privacy requests should be sent to privacy@bannermarch.com.
These alpha terms establish a practical current boundary. They should be reviewed for the operator’s final legal entity, commercial model, and launch jurisdictions before paid or unrestricted public service begins.
